Parking and Practice Entrance

  • Shepherd Parking Passes

    • Homeschool Group will need a parking pass - please stop by the front desk and ask for one

    • Evening swimmers do not need a parking pass.

  • Practice Entrance:

    • Swimmers and families should enter the pool area by turning left after entering the Wellness Center, following the hallway past the Cafe, and you will enter up the ramp to the upper deck

    • Families and friends must remain on the Upper Deck. You can steal a chair to sit on. 🙂

    • Only swimmers on the pool deck and chairs along the side

Officials Training

Our home meet on September 29th is a prime opportunity to begin apprentice training for officials. I am still learning about the process, but my current understanding is that if you apprentice then plus one other meet, you will complete the requirements.

To be ready to apprentice, you will need to do the following:

  1. Make an account on USA Swimming

  • You may already have an account if your swimmer has been registered here before

  • You will just need to add yourself as a member

  1. Go in the education section of the usaswimming.org website and complete the following:

  • Background Check

  • Athlete Protection Course

  • Concussion Training

  • Foundations of Officiating and Stroke and Turn Certification Course

  1. Register as non-athlete/Official

  • Don't do this yet; we will send you this team-specific link in early September

  1. Once these steps are completed, our LSC Officials Representative, Rob Clevenger, will receive an email notification and send you the apprenticeship forms.
