All Hands on Deck!

• - If you see this in time, Friday morning we need help cutting ribbons, organizing spirit wear, and some other team tasks. If you are there, we will put you to work! 

• - Wow, thank you for filling so many volunteer jobs at the home meet on Saturday! We only need one or two people to sign up for concessions second half. 

• - We could use some more Officials on our team – with 100 kids, we ought to have some more family members willing to take 2 hours to get official trained and enjoy a good view of the meet from the pool deck! 

• - We are offering another Officials course the week of June 17-21. Please let me know if you are interested. As soon as our trainer has a date nailed down, I will let everyone know.  
   

• Schedule: 

• - Swimmers Arrive and Stretch at 2:30.  

• - Warm-up at 3:00 in Lanes 1-4  

• Remind swimmers to be respectful of other patrons.  

• - Timer and Official meetings will be at 3:40. 

• Make sure you sign up for a meet job. We added a new spot for Clerk of Course – for help lining up kids for their events.  

​  - Events: An Event Sheet was emailed to those participating. Review the events with your swimmers! On Saturday morning you will recieve an updated meet file with the Heats and Lanes they are assigned to - you can write these with sharpies on their arm (see photo attached).

• Traffic Flow: Enter down the hallway same as practice – swimmers will leave their gear with you on the bleachers.  

• - When it is close to their turn to swim, they will bring their caps and goggles down to the pool deck to get lined up.  

• - Spectators should only use the restrooms in the hallway. Locker rooms and family changing rooms are for swimmers only starting at 4 pm (patrons will still be using the facility until then)

•  

• All-Star Times are found under the Documents section of our website, and I also linked them on the MASSL Summer Swim Page.  

• Team pictures by O’Roke on Monday evening June 10 at the pool.  

• - 6:45 Arrival, we will start with individuals then get as many as we can for a full team picture! 

• - Wear your team suit, if possible (or a navy suit, or any suit, or your team shirt with shorts) 

• - Order forms available on the sign-in table  

•  

• Concessions and cap sales will now be collected by EPSC instead of the Booster Club as we transition to a new and more effective team management arrangement.

• - We thank all who have served on our Booster Club as Officers and all family and friends who have supported our team in countless capacities. Not to worry – still all the same volunteer opportunities with the EPSC Parent Committees!

• - The year round USA Swimming team will need a new name . . . taking suggestions! Drop your ideas in the box at practice or email me.
