First Meet Approaching!

- We are looking for paper grocery bag donations to organize our spirit wear in. Bring them to practice if you have any! 

- Is anyone willing to be our social media coordinator? We need someone to keep our Facebook page (and any other platform) updated with our fun happenings and accomplishments.  
 

- Are you registered on TeamUnify?? Link HERE.  

- Have you filled out your Swimmer Information and Goals Worksheet? There are some on the check in table at practice.  

- Pay your Booster Fee at Practice to a Booster Officer – Only $10! Cash or Check to Sea Snakes Booster Club (make sure you write your swimmers’ name on it). This needs to be paid to receive your cap and team shirt.  

- You may have noticed a new traffic pattern – all team members and families should enter the hallway left of the entrance and sign in at the back of the pool upper deck.  

- Family Members going to workout with a membership should come back around and swipe in with their card 

- Some swimmers are getting lightheaded at practice. We know it’s early, but please make sure they are eating something for breakfast and drinking – bring water to practice! 

- First meet this Saturday! Swimmer events are being set up by the coaches - you may see them start popping up on the OnDeck app. Later this week we will send a meet rundown with final events. Encourage your swimmers to communicate with their coaches at practice or via email if there are certain goals or events they are looking forward to.  

- Swimmers should arrive at 2:30. We will then stretch as a team before we hop in the pool for warm-up 3-3:30. Timer and Official meetings will be at 2:40. 

- Make sure you sign up for a meet job. We added a new spot for Clerk of Course – for help lining up kids for their events.  

- Our second meet is only a few days later--next Tuesday, June 11 at Frederick Area Swim Club. If you forgot to opt-in, please email me asap @ ewheatle@shepherd.edu. 

- Team pictures by O’Roke on Monday evening June 10 at the pool.  

- 6:45 Arrival, we will start with individuals then get as many as we can for a full team picture! 

- Wear your team suit, if possible (or a navy suit, or any suit, or your team shirt with shorts) 

- Order forms available on the sign-in table  

- Shepherdstown 4th of July Parade! 

- The Sea Snakes Swim Team will be making its debut in the community parade. Opt-in on the Meets and Events Page.
